Jeff Todd

Investor

Jeff joined Sorenson as an investor in 2021 and focuses on finding, evaluating, and supporting great early-stage software companies. He believes that technology is fundamentally reshaping our lives and has the power to make the world a better place for all people.

Prior to joining Sorenson, Jeff was an associate at Vector Capital where he focused on investing in special situations for established technology companies. While at Vector, Jeff served as a board observer for companies in the cloud CPQ and live event ticketing industries. Prior to Vector, Jeff was a senior analyst with Citigroup where he advised some of the world’s most influential technology companies in the software, internet, semiconductor, and tech distribution industries.

Jeff graduated magna cum laude from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science in finance. During his time at BYU, Jeff co-founded Source Hive, a social venture focused on helping students in Ghana learn web development while also earning an income by performing data entry for US-based businesses. Jeff was also a leader for the BYU Investment Banking Club and the Marriott School of Business Student Council. Outside of work, Jeff is an avid soccer player, skier, and reader.
