Bio

Justin graduated magna cum laude from Utah State University’s Jon M. Huntsman School of Business with degrees in Finance and Information Systems with an emphasis in Cybersecurity. While at school, Justin was active in various finance and computer science clubs. Prior to joining Sorenson, Justin was an investor at Susquehanna Growth Equity and, before that, an investor at University Growth Fund.

Justin loves investing in enterprise software because of the rapid pace at which companies can scale, create job opportunities, and push the world economy forward. Justin enjoys working closely with founders who are product-first and obsessed with solving problems they have experienced firsthand. When a founder can put themselves in their customer’s shoes, understand and identify with their most difficult pain points, that is when world-class products are born. Justin believes being a founder is the most difficult yet rewarding career path a person can choose. His goal as an investor is to be a trusted confidant and sounding board for problems, challenges, and potential solutions.
