Prior to returning to Sorenson Capital, Mr. Atkin was Vice President of Marketing for AIGB and oversaw the launch of a successful new brand and multi million dollar direct response marketing campaign. Previously, Mr. Atkin was also a Vice President with OMNI Brokerage, Inc., a boutique brokerage and underwriter specializing in real estate syndications. At OMNI, Mr. Atkin performed due diligence on over $2 billion of commercial real estate and oversaw the underwriting division which raised over $400 million in equity in 2005.

Mr. Atkin is an experienced entrepreneur, having started 5 companies. He has 4 years of international work experience in Chile and Costa Rica, and has experience in Real Estate Development, Education, and Retail. Mr. Atkin has also participated in consulting projects for Black & Decker and Intel.

Mr. Atkin received a Master of Business Administration and a B.S. in Economics from Brigham Young University.
