DONALD BLOHM

Mr. Blohm joined Sorenson Capital in 2010. Prior to joining the firm, he was the Chief Operations Officer for Mity-Lite, Inc., a manufacturer of lightweight portable tables, chairs, and other furniture. He brings extensive experience in global operations management, having had P&L responsibility for numerous operations in North and South America, Europe, India and Australia. Prior to his assignment at Mity-Lite, Mr. Blohm spent five years in operations consulting and more than twenty-five years in corporate executive roles, including Vice President of Worldwide Operations for the Flow Control Division of Flowserve Corporation, one of the world's largest manufacturers of pumps, valves, seals and components to the process industries. He was also President of BGA International, an international supplier of process equipment with operations in the United States, Europe, South Africa, Chile, Brazil and Australia, where he was responsible for the design and implementation of global sales, marketing and product development strategies. Mr. Blohm has been directly involved in evaluating numerous potential acquisitions and in integrating operations post-close. His operations experience crosses over a number of industrial markets, including mining, oil and gas, power, chemical, and various consumer products. His particular expertise is in identification and implementation of operational improvements that impact bottom-line results.
Mr. Blohm holds a Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering from Utah State University and is a registered professional engineer.
