Mr. Scott most recently worked for Cameron International, a leading provider of oilfield and industrial equipment based in Houston, Texas. As a Master Black Belt he led the Lean Six Sigma initiative, driving process improvement activities in manufacturing plants throughout North America and Europe. He has expertise in lean manufacturing, transactional lean and experience training for and leading Kaizen events.
Mr. Scott also worked for two years as the head of global sourcing for one of Cameron's businesses and has extensive experience leading international negotiations in China, India, Europe and the Middle East. Mr. Scott's initial role at Cameron was in corporate development where he gained experience in all aspects of M&A including creating financial models, conducting due diligence, negotiating purchase agreements, and developing integration plans.
Prior to attending business school Mr. Scott worked in various engineering roles with Honeywell, AlliedSignal and Valtek and holds several patents.
Mr. Scott received an MBA from Harvard Business School and an M.S and B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University.
