Are you going to get the smart money that’s loyal money, that’s trustworthy, with people that are going to look after you and help you grow? That’s something that I found with Sorenson. You’re getting a world-class team in your corner.”
Omniture was a groundbreaking leader in web analytics using a SaaS-based model. It went through several stages in its growth, from an early-stage technology company to making major acquisitions through a highly successful IPO and eventually being sold to Adobe in the largest tech deal in Utah’s history.
One of the partners at Sorenson Capital served as Chairman of the Board and as a key advisor to Omniture throughout all of its stages of growth, including its IPO. Sorenson built a trusted “mentor” relationship with the CEO, a relationship that continues long after the sale of the company.
Omniture was sold to Adobe for $1.8 billion in 2009.
