New Kiddie Kandids Partnership with Sorenson Capital Will Double Popular Children’s Portrait Studio Locations
SANDY, UT (May 9, 2005)—Kiddie Kandids, one of America’s most successful children’s portrait studio chains, and Sorenson Capital, a private equity fund based in Salt Lake City, announced today that Sorenson Capital has become an investment partner in Kiddie Kandids.
Sandy-based Kiddie Kandids plans to open more than 150 new locations over the next five years with resources acquired through Sorenson Capital’s leveraged recapitalization. Kiddie Kandids currently has 100 studios across the U.S. specializing in high-quality portrait photos of newborns and toddlers backed by the most up-to-date technology available today. No sitting fees are charged and customers pay only for the portraits they want, which are digital and immediately available to take home with them.
